DESCRIPTION:Join us for the last workshop of our Four Part Webinar Series: Maintenance in the Defensible Space Zone \nWhen: October 22nd\, 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm \nWhere: FREE on Zoom! \nThe Resilient Landscapes Coalition is hosting a FREE\, bilingual Four Part webinar series on creating a fire-wise landscape in the Defensible Space zone and beyond\, while at the same time enhancing biodiversity and wildlife habitat\, and conserving resources. \nThis four part\, one hour per week\, workshop series will allow plenty of time for questions and discussion\, and will provide: \nPart 4 – Jennifer Roberts\, Community Education Specialist & Landscape Designer\, UCCE Master Gardener Program of Sonoma County & Native Habitats Landscape Design will be presenting on Maintenance in the Defensible Space Zone \nJennifer Roberts\, Community Education Specialist & Landscape Designer\, UCCE Master Gardener Program of Sonoma County & Native Habitats Landscape Design\n“The threats we face today—climate change\, loss of biodiversity\, drought\, and wildfires—are daunting\, but I believe in the power of collective action. My goal is to help people see that they are not powerless in the face of these challenges. Through education about resilient landscaping\, I aim to inspire hope and empower individuals to create meaningful change\, starting right in their own backyards. DESCRIPTION:Únase a nosotros para el último taller de nuestra serie de seminarios web de cuatro partes: Mantenimiento en la zona espacial defendible \n\n\nCuándo: 22 de octubre\, 17:30 – 18:30 horas \n\n\nDónde: ¡GRATIS en Zoom! \n\n\nLa Coalición de Paisajes Resilientes está organizando una serie de seminarios web GRATUITOS y bilingües de cuatro partes sobre cómo crear un paisaje resistente al fuego en la zona de Espacio Defendible y más allá\, mejorando al mismo tiempo la biodiversidad y el hábitat de la vida silvestre y conservando los recursos. \n\n\nEsta serie de talleres de cuatro partes\, de una hora por semana\, permitirá suficiente tiempo para preguntas y debates\, y proporcionará: \n\n\nParte 4: Jennifer Roberts\, especialista en educación comunitaria y diseñadora de paisajes del programa Master Gardener de la UCCE del condado de Sonoma y Native Habitats Landscape Design\, realizará una presentación sobre el mantenimiento en la zona de espacio defendible. \n\n\n“Las amenazas que enfrentamos hoy (el cambio climático\, la pérdida de biodiversidad\, la sequía y los incendios forestales) son abrumadoras\, pero creo en el poder de la acción colectiva.
